We stayed in a hotel in Prince George, Virginia, overnight. This was the view from the window on the backside of the building, overlooking a pond.

Sunday evening we drove to Richmond and Landmark Baptist Church, Pastor Sumpter. The teen group sang a special. This church is one of our faithful supporters from the beginning. :-)

We traveled to Richmond for Sunday meetings and at the hotel was this goose and her little gosling crossing the street in the parking lot. So cute. Later there were other birds in the area, then a gaggle of geese drinking water from a pool at the WalMart parking lot.

Easter Sunday

The theme for the year is Continue. Pastor Mike Creed taught about the different places Jesus was taken before the crucifixion, using a map and several photos of the Holy Land showing the actual places like the Garden Tomb and the place of the Skull.

After church we went back to West Virginia up Indian Head Highway and saw these sound barriers being built. I thought, if these can be built to protect people from traffic noise, why can't the southern border get a complete wall to keep out illegals? I should think that would be more important...anyway...

April 20-21, 2019

We at at the Mountain View Diner in Charles Town. This is the steak salad covered in mozzarella cheese, huge chunks of tomato, cuke, radish, homemade croutons. Enough for two...had to take half of it home.

Took the twins for a walk in Charles Town past Lucy outside a thrift store.

This mosaic wall was very interesting and huge.

Joe started power washing the outside of his townhouse. Amazing what high-pressure water can clean, without soap.

April 15-19, 2019 West Virginia, Maryland

Henry was helping the twins with lunch by making an "airplane" with the food. They ate it all!

We went to Cornerstone Baptist Church in Owings, Maryland, for the Wednesday night (April 17) service. So good to see Pastor Titus who was in the Bible Institute at the same time as Henry. He has pastored this church for about 30 years.

Sunday, April 14, Leesburg, Virginia, and Bel Air, Maryland

Henry preached Sunday morning at Loudoun Baptist Church where our long-time friends, the Nichols, pastor and have been there over 30 years. We share some wonderful memories.

After lunch we drove over to Bel Air, Maryland for the evening service at Forest Ridge Baptist, Jeff Berg pastoring for over 30 years. This two church were one of the first that took us on for support back in 1989.
