August 21, 2015 Katy, TX

The Quilt and Sew Studio in Katy is a bright, colorful store.  We collected the Row by Row pattern, plus a new pattern for a wall cross and fabric by Moda called Celeste.

We saw the San Jacinto Battlefield Park and the Battleship Texas, along with Sara and Teresa.  http://www.sanjacinto-museum.org

Lunch was at a seafood restaurant on site.  Sara had huge chicken fingers and Teresa had  huge burger.  Henry and I ate delicious soup.

On the Battleship Texas, Henry got to site and move one of the guns.  This ship was built in WWI and refurbished for WWII and saw battles in both oceans.

At the bow of the ship.

Some of the silver used by the Captain and officers.

God Bless the USA
These birds were eating french fries tossed to them at a parking lot.  They would not even move when a car was trying to get them to move.  Henry went and chased them away so the car could pass, then they came back immediately. So funny.
