I Believe

Man’s opinion keeps on changing, but the Bible stays the same

This world embraces evolution, tries to reason God away

Jesus Christ is a Creator, time and chance is the devil’s lie

 And I’ll stand firmly on the Bible and I’ll never blink an eye

I believe my Jesus fed 5000, and He turned the water into wine

I believe my Lord walked on water, and opened up the eyes of the blind.

I believe He spoke and Lazarus listened. The grave gave up the dead at His command

But the greatest miracle was His commission: on a cross  my King became a Lamb.

I believe that Jesus rose again

Though the world scoffs at the Bible, they say where’s the cross of your King?

I believe my Savior’s coming, in the twinkling of an eye I will be changed.

I’ll not apologize for scripture; all of its teachings I’ll believe
