July 31, - August 2, 2015, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia

We stayed with the Pearson family in Pennsylvania on the 30th. Their older daughter met Sara at camp two years ago.  Outside their dining window was this nesting bird and other critters around the bird feeders.

We drove behind this camper pulling a boat with an appropo name.
Anyone want a blue truck?

Weaver's Dry Goods sold all sorts of things.  Found out the owner is a missionary in Thailand and gets his support through profits from two or three stores.  I was able to get a Row by Row pattern and license plate.  They sell candles, soaps as well as fabrics.  The store smelled so good.

This explains the large stars we have seen on houses while traveling.  They are called Barn Stars.
A very familiar logo--recognize which company it represents?

As seen on the Beltway in Maryland.  Patriotism is alive and well.

We visited the Faith Baptist Church in Fredericksburg, VA, on Sunday evening and met Debbie and her daughter, right, and Jim and Sharon who all attended Independent when we were there years ago.
